Dylan Aguilera

Mr. Aguilera goes above and beyond to build rapport with all of his middle school students. He takes students who have never played an instrument before and after a few months, he has them playing in harmony. He also showcases their work by having them perform at events such as, but not limited to, high school engagements, open house, Boca De Oro (city event), etc. Mr. Aguilera is a natural leader, and he inspires his students to rise to their potential (even when they did not know they had the skill). Mr. Aguilera teaches Band, Orchestra, and Music Technology at Sierra, in addition to participating in District art leadership, and he is a core member of the Turnaround Arts ALT. We greatly appreciate all of the hard work that Mr. Aguilera does for our students, and we are so proud of what he continues to accomplish. He is an inspiration not only to his students but also to our staff.
