In Ms. Silvia’s class at Hoopa Valley Elementary, students came to see themselves as artists and as poets. They learned to express their unique ideas and stories creatively. She inspired in students a sense of pride and accomplishment, and for the community, she shined a light on the natural brilliance of our youth.
